Hart-Miller Island 2007

Post by jcollins »

Sorry for the late notice but if any of the Chesapeake Albin owners are around next Sunday the band FOG will be playing at Hart-Miller again. Last year it was great. We are getting there around 12:00 with some other boaters but there is always room for another Albin.

We'll be monitoring channel 68. If anyone wants my cell, send me a note.

Here is a link to some pics from last year.

It was a helluva weekend. The weather was perfect. Sunday Hart-Miller was jumping. At least 250 boats (1 Albin that I could see). The band was good. The company was great! Family, friends, small boats, BIG BOATS, Jet Skis, and skiffs. At any given time there were 12 or more on the boat or just hanging around. The admiral (Sharon) was the perfect mate.

Today I took a cruise to get fuel. The Bay was flat. I ended up taking the long way home around Pooles Island. When I got back to the shack Sharon said "wow, 3 hours to get fuel"? "yeah...slow fill...you know"
