Sorry for the radio silence! We are looking forward to a fun filled weekend of food, drink, dingy rides and more.

Hello fellow Albin owners,

We are getting very excited to see all of you in just two weeks! Brewers says they still have room for more, so, if you haven’t already done so, please get signed up as soon as possible. The more the merrier!

Diane and I will be arriving around noon on Friday, July 20. We plan to follow the traditional schedule:

Friday, afternoon - Meet and greet with hors d’ouevres and cocktails on the dock

Friday evening - If you’re still hungry for dinner or dessert, you may wish to visit one of many establishments in downtown Mystic, a short dingy ride or walk from the marina

Saturday - There’s lots to do in Mystic: Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic Aquarium, Old Mystic Village Shopping, or take a stroll in downtown Mystic. For anyone who is interested, we could do a dinghy flotilla to Ford’s for lobster rolls for lunch. Or, you can lounge by the pool.

Saturday evening at 6:00 - Meet at the picnic area and gazebo by the pool for a potluck dinner. We will provide steaks, ribs, and Diane’s not-yet-famous cole slaw and, if everyone provides sides and desserts, we will have a fantastic feast. As usual, it will be a BYOB event.

Sunday morning at 8:00 - Breakfast back at the picnic area. We will bring quiche and fruit salad. Other contributions are welcome. BYOC (Bring your own coffee).

Saturday night after dinner we will be doing a Yankee Swap and raffle, standby for more details

Also, anyone that is interested (Jay and Debbie...) we will be going to the fireworks at Three Mile Harbor next weekend, join us if you can!

Hello Albin Rendezvousers(sp),
We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! We will be arriving around noon to get things set up and going although I think by then John, Doug and Rob will have kicked things off!
Looks like we have good weather for the festivities and travels home in the afternoon Sunday. We're all weather boaters anyway, right?
We have some nice filet mignon, ribs and coleslaw for the Saturday night pot luck and the crew on Trudy Blue II will be bringing chicken for grilling. Other entrees, salad, appetizers and desserts will be welcome.
We have some great items for the annual raffle donated by our local West Marine and some that we purchased.
Also, I know all you folks are like me and have all kinds of unused boating equipment and parts in your garage, sheds and bilges. So, I will be bringing a bin full of items that maybe someone else can use and offering them up for trade or free. Diane says for free! If you haven't left yet bring some items that you thought you were going to use, but haven't, but thought you might, but probably never will, for someone that might...Whew! I know all of you have this stuff!

Also, call Brewers on channel 09 when arriving and tell them you're with the Albin Owners Northeast Rendezvous and they will give you your slip assignment.

I am still in Vermont working on our house up there and will not be able to make the trip.

The company and food were outstanding.
One bonus was the C130 low altitude flyoverthat C this arranged!! Thanks for that.

Looks like an excellent time - unfortunately the penalty with young kids is an unpredictable schedule. Wish we could have made it - but hopefully next year!

Diane and Chris, thanks again for a terrific Albin get together! Always great to see everyone, catch up on things, eat amazing food and explore the local area. We look forward to next year's Rendevous and until then wish everyone our best. Annette and Dave
