Scroll through this thread in the general Discussion Forum toward the bottom. An AOG member has some experience with it.

I don't know if it was I that was being referred to as having experience, regardless, I have had experience with this product.

For the last 2 years we have used this on the stern of our boat with no troubles, even in a squall last season.

Easy to use with our 310 Hypalon Mercury RIB.

The only drawback is that you aren't supposed to leave the motor on the dingy when in the sling. I have supposed for the 2 years that if, instead of pulling the dingy up parallel to the stern the dingy was left at a 45 degree angle it might work to leave the motor on.

I'm currently looking for a motor mount that I can put on the swim platform to avoid putting my 6HP on the sundeck. That would make moving the motor to the dingy a lot easier.

I was able to get to the manufacturer but I've also delt with All Inflatables, Both are great companies.

Hope this helps. Any questions, give me a shout.
Calm seas,

Charles

If the engine a 2 stroke you CAN raise the dinghy all the way. I saw many Canadians carrying their dinks this way last year during my cruise there.
