Forward bilge

Post by Surfguard00 »

Looking a 40' 1989 and found this cracking approx 3ft long in the forward bilge area. Thoughts on cause or how extensive the damage might be?

If those are cracks in the fiberglass and not in some caked-on crud, I'd be calling my favorite fiberglass guy right about now to come have a look.

I wouldn't say that's in the glass, I'd say it's in the flowcoat or even more possible bilge paint. Get it dry and see if it chips away and you'll see if it's paint or not.
