Engine Data

Post by rebuckley »

I was curious if anyone has taken the data that we get at our gauges and converted it to use in a NMEA 2000 system? I have been looking at the NoLand and the Actisence converters. They both seem to take the analog (and alternator) data that our gauges use and convert it to NMEA 2000. I currently have the entire electronic system "talking" through my Simrads - and woudl ove to add the engine data to that mix as well. Anyone have any experience/opinions (I am sure there are some) with these data converters?
Thanks - Reb
