Boston Rendezvous

Hi Rick,

I made a reservation for June 21st at the Constitution Marina. When talking with Sebastion it appeared he wasn't aware of the rendezvous. Maybe it's just me. I have that age thing going you know (BC 61).

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

The Joint Venture (Marcia & John) are signed in for the 19th,20th,21st,22nd. No firm travel itinerary yet .

Hi I'm a new member and would have enjoyed the rendezvous but am leaving for Maine on June 24th.

I own an Albin 28TE (2004) and do extensive cruising with her. Just completed the installation of a watermaker..

Hi Hank. If your p;ans change, love to have you in Boston. Water maker sounds great, now if only someone can invent a fuel maker from sea water...

Well Rick, they have invented such a device. The problem is that it takes more energy to make the fuel than the fuel contains......

For those of you interested in attending the Boston Rendezvous but not bringing your boat, Constitution Marina offers a Bed & Breakfast Afloat program where you can stay aboard one of the larger boats at the marina or in one of the floating hotel rooms. Just an idea to get more people ivolkved.

What's the latest list of attendes look like. I hope we can get a decent showing. We're looking forward to having the "locals" point out the hot fishing holes.

For you NE Rendezvouers, the fishing really turned on in Boston this weekend. Lots of bass (keeper sized), flounder and even cod within a few miles of Constitution Marina. So bring your gear!

Looking forward to the big event, and we will be bringing ALL the fishing gear. Also, we should get back to the Chesapeake group and see if we are going to have the iChat video conference for one of the gatherings. Do we have an agenda set? I'm thinking that cocktails on Saturday would be a good time to try to hook up with the southerners.

Here is a very quick itinerary. Thoughts welcome.

For those arriving Friday:
6:00pm Meet and greet cocktails aboard Legacy
7:30 pm Group dinner in North End (walk to Italian neighborhood)
10:00 Boat drinks on deck

Saturday:
7-11:00 Early am derby-style fishing (optional)
12:00 Meet and greet for all w/ lunch
2:00 Freedom Trail/Constitution visits if interested (optional)
2:00 Harbor tour in several boats (optional)
6:00 Cocktails on Marina pool deck w/ award ceremony
Biggest fish
Came the furthest
Best boat drink
7:30 BBQ (plenty of gas grills) w/web link to other rendezvous
10:00 Evening cocktails

Sunday:
