Loran Antenna

Post by Panhdjoe »

Our 36 has an 8 ft antenna that was used with the Loran that I have removed and discarded. Is this antenna good for anything? or should it go to the dumpster also.

Watch out for fiberglass slivers. I suppose any antenna will pick up signals, some are better at certain frequencies. If you could splice on different connectors, it might be okay for FM, WIFI, etc. Mine went in the dumpster.
