Alternator output, Yanmar 315, 2004 model

Post by Norseman »

Looking to buy an Albin 28 and wondering what the alternator output is? (Dual belt)
The owner did not know and the surveyor did not mention it in the report.

Should be 80 amp. Typically there is a label on the Alt as well.

Thx, what I suspected.
Spoiled with a 150 alternator on previous boat, quick charging and with solar panels I could sit for anchor a week without starting the engine. (33' sailboat)
