Fresh water tank replacement

Post by johnnylion »

Hi Folks,

We’d like to replace the original fresh water tank on our 27FC. The current tank is on the port side and holds in the neighborhood of 25 gallons. Does anyone have any recommendations for sources for a replacement tank of similar capacity? The current tank measures 16.5w x 10.5h x 42 l, so I’d like to find something of similar dimensions.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers, John

Never used myself but found them in a quick search. I’m sure you could find one to fit your needs.

What about flexible ones? I don’t think I would put in hard tanks if i were to replace mine. I love the idea of taking them out and clean both the bags and the area under them.

Thanks for the responses all. The new rigid tank is sitting on my front porch right now and we plan on installing it tomorrow. It's slightly smaller than the (ancient) one I'm replacing, so it should go in fairly easily. Time to skin some knuckles in tight places...
