A27 Window Slides

Post by DCatSea »

Has anyone replaced the side window slides? Mine are working but really ratty, and need replacing. Would any advice on replacement.
Also: How do I get the glass out? Mine seems to be just oversized to pop out as I would expect.

Thanks

I have the same problem with my 1997 28TE. I found a source for the channel. Steele Rubber Products. They provide samples. Have yet to start the project so any feedback you get will be very helpful.

Doug give me a call I did it. I took the windows out dug out the coring about an inch deep. I put thickened epoxy in the grove. I think I bought the rails at Hamilton marine.

Did you remove interior or exterior window trim to do the job?
