Tom, have a look at this European trailer and its specs. All stainless! Payload almost 6400 lbs. I think this illustrates s far higher level of development over there. North American boat trailers are still back in the Seventies.

Dang! All stainless!! Even bearings are stainless. With extended tubes on the side rollers it could probably do a A25. its on the short side with 7.5m (the A25 is 7.6m) but it can probably handle a bit of overhang. Certainly not looking like the trailers the swedes post about on the Facebook group. I was just looking earlier today on canals in Europe and I can see now why there is not much DA-ing going on. There is a lot of red tape going between countries but the waterways are endless! Some other maps that are showing smaller canals are even more impressive. UK is covered with waterways.
