I just noticed something about the trailer, and this is something WIllieC and I have both mentioned as nice to have; the rear of the trailer has adjustable supports. I have been concocting a solution where the rear bunk articulates, approximately where the bunks end on this trailer, with some kind of jack to support the rear in transit, but lower down for launching. I like what I see on this trailer - a modified jack stand to support the rear in transit. I suppose I'd like it to be fully removeable for launching.

It’s hard to see in the photo but yes the two rear supports are screw jacks that can be easily moved down, out of the way for launching then back up for travel. After all I’ve read about problems launching, I was nervous about my first try. It was surprisingly easy, floated off easily with trailer tongue well out of the water, minimal backing in. Just as easy back on and centered.
