That picture in the boathouse looks vaguely familiar...

Remember the Mad magazine ads where they advertised light bulbs for one penny?

AS SHOWN!

They had left hand threads.

What happened to the other ten feet?

Probably stolen by a squid looking for a mate (biologist's weak attempt at humour; Wikipedia will give you the answer in the first sentence)

I've messaged with the gentleman selling it before he decided to list it. He has another boat and can't keep them both up. From the pics it will need some work, and a trailer, though the Tennessee River will connect you all over the eastern part of the USA.

Is that one in Mass the one that’s on Facebook Marketplace? My son was interested in that, but he’s just not in the right place in his life to take that on right now.

The hull has a rather odd shape on the port side. Shadows or previous repair?

This is particularly distressing to see these kind of low asking prices considering the obscene amount of money I've spent on our boat both in initial purchase & various repairs and upgrade projects over the past six going on seven years (hard top, canvas work, topsides & bottom paint jobs, adding davits & replacing dinghy, upgraded enlarged holding tank, electronics upgrades, etc). $4K even needing "engine work" would be a steal even if said engine was beyond repair & needed to be repowered.
