She launched!! Runs great, leak from thrust nut on prop shaft, fixed with a few wraps of packing.
Fired up and ran perfect.

Cruised at 6.5 knots at 1800 RPM, 9.2 at 3000RPM according to GPS. Running up river at Punta Gorda.
Overall, very acceptable performance.

I'm running a 2008 model Yanmar 3JH3E 39 HP. 4 blade, RH rotation prop. I don't know exact size/pitch, but she runs at exactly 3000RPM at WOT, which is what the manual says it should do.
I ran into the wind at 8.2 kts and downwind at 9.3 knots GPS. Calm wind, slack tide, WOT of 3000 and 9.2kts.

Planning to start The Loop around the 21st of August, AFTER I get my A/C fixed. Probably going to backtrack from Punta Gorda to New Orleans, lay up for the winter and deer season and resume in March or April. Turn back east and see where we end up!

Swim platform is probably my favorite addition! The canvas work is great when those afternoon boomers pup up, just drop the sides and clues the sunroof.

Everything I've done so far has been functional, after I see how things perform, I'll get to the "pretty" cosmetic stuff.

Very nice! You've got the exact type of boarding ladder I need to find for ours. These A25's are the Goldilocks size boat for extended cruising, long distance trailering, & best fuel economy. The Loop sounds like a great plan. Hopefully you'll be able to leapfrog the trailer in segments. Is that a Tundra you're towing with? Always nice to see another down in the Southwest.

Outstanding! Are you based in Punta Gorda? We get down there each Winter or so (not 2019) to visit wife's brother at Punta Gorda Isles. Perhaps we can meet when your Loop progresses to Illinois; perhaps even do a couple of days in company with our A-25 the DuNORD.
