Welcome: You really should be able to find the desired boat in the Florida area. Have seen several listed in the past. Their is a 35 Command Bridge there now. Purchased one of my former Albin's a 35te Sportfisher from Jack Pady Marine near you in Georgina Bay in 2010. Great boat and finest
broker I ever had dealing with.

Looking at a 43 Classic - probably a bit more boat than I need but gotta start somewhere.
As I understand it, Albins are well made and if maintained well, age (mid 80's) should not be an issue.
Hopefully the seller is a good guy and will spend a day with me teaching me how to use all the systems and also how to drive the thing. Being a lifelong sailing guy, this is quite a departure.

Well, speaking as a fellow former sailboater, if you're going switch from the purity of sail and surrender to the siren call of "the Dark Side", you could do worse than an Albin 43 Classic.
