Official owner now

Post by Mar Azul »

Well after lurking on this site for a few years, I finally closed on a 2000 28 TE last week and drove it down from Mattapoisett Massachusetts to its new home in Niantic Connecticut. After selling my 24 foot rampage that I had for 17 years this August I spent almost 3 months going through boat withdrawal. After looking at every single engine diesel on the East Coast my girlfriend and I finally found the boat for us.

Welcome. Well that is a beautiful boat so the wait was worth it. I have said elsewhere the good ones are becoming rare with no on going production. The following is strong so if you give it great care it may even go up in value rather than down slightly.

Welcome, it’s kind of funny as I just bought a 2006 28TE this spring, dark blue and brought it up to Mattapoisett. They are great boats.

Welcome aboard. She looks just like my 2001, purchased two months ago in Savannah (originally from Stamford Ct, "Absolutely").
I can't wait for May to come. I'll be the first one on Lake Michigan.
So far, the only experience has been an hour or so during the sea trials.

Hey CapRonV ,Boy these Albins sure make their way around . My boat was originally from Lake Michigan. The previous owners use her to do the “Great Loop “ .
