New member (Cape Cod)

Post by Sixtfour »

New member/owner, been lurking for awhile. I closed yesterday and take delivery tomorrow. Boat is a 2001 28T with 300 hp Yanmar. This forum has been invaluable, look forward to being apart of it. I have a lot to learn coming from center console's.. The boat will be on a mooring in Sippican Harbor

Congratulations. See you on the water. I have my mooring on the Wareham River about 5 miles away. Good luck with the boat. I am starting my search for a 28.

. Boat is a 2001 28T with 300 hp Yanmar.
Same as my tub.
Great boats.
(The 300 HP Yanmar is the same motor as the 315s. The only difference I have found is that the HP rating was measured at different temperatures, 25 vs 40 degrees fuel temperature or some such thing.)

Welcome aboard. 8)

We’ve had our 2001 for 16 years. Been down your way a few time visiting our son in Falmouth. We stay at Falmouth’s town marina in Falmouth ‘s inner harbor. Great location!

Welcome to the forum. I have owned a 2001 28 TE with a 300 hp Yanmar 6LP, for 10 months now and I keep her in Morehead City, NC.

This is a great forum and very helpful if you like me are doing any restoration or improvements to your boat.
