Seeking help to solve a bit of a mystery

Post by Hobbes »

Hello everyone, I'm hoping that I've found the right place to solve this little mystery of mine. I recently bought some random parts and my initial plan was to use them in some repurposing projects, but first I wanted to figure out what I had before causing any irreversible damage. I have searched Google up and down and have come up completely empty as to what boat this came from. I figure this has got to be my best bet at finding an answer! Thanks for listening

Looks like it came from a WW2 fighter, maybe a P51 Mustang.

Yes, I know they weren't diesel powered, or equipped with raw water intakes.

Looks like it belongs in my A25. Oh, two engines. I'll get back to you. I do notice the newer Albin logo, so probably post 1973. Doing my best to help.
Maybe you should frame it and hang it above the mantle.

And for Yanmar power, they are the only ones who offered all those OEM senders and switches for those alarm lights

If it came from a P-51, it was the only one built with twin Yanmar engines.
