Tropical storm watch posted for mid Atlantic & New England coasts

Post by DesertAlbin736 »

As we prepare to take a drive over to Cape Cod from Westerly, Rhode Island later today tropical storm watch is in effect as Jose approaches. Then we're out of here tomorrow morning headed for NE Pennsylvania with our travel trailer in tow, in time to escape 25 mph winds with up to 50 mph gusts & 3 to 5 inches of rain. Storm surge at the beach here only expected to be 2 feet.

Branch on tree next to my house banged on my metal chimney cap all night.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang...

Other than that it was just a windy rainy night and day. Still windy now. Jose just wants to sit there off shore and not go away.

Jon B.,
That's good news. Irma ripped part of the roof off of my back porch and blew out my soffits on the back of my house...
