India normally - it'll be spammers employed to spam forums as they need to sign up and pass any captcha to post

oh and whatever you do - don't reply to the spam posts. If that user has it set up to receive an email when new notifications arrive, they will be aware that the crap they post is being seen.

It's really not all that bad. Just the other day through a post similar to these I found out I had a long lost uncle in Nigeria (recently deceased) who left me MILLIONS! All I have to do is send $10k (for administrative fees) and the money is mine!

Please do. We try to stay ahead of the idiots. I had to turn off the "self-registration". All new users must be approved before they can post.
