Boat Salvage Yards - 1979 43' Volvo Penta

Post by Albin79 »

Hello All!

Anyone know of boat salvage yards that have old Albin Trawlers? I"m looking for simple cosmetic pieces to help restore my old 1979 43 with Volvo Pentas.
i.e. Mast, teak trim, fixtures, lights, etc.

Any ideas, options, recommendations I would greatly appreciate some direction and feedback. I will travel to get to the locations.

Also I'd like to get old TAMD40A engine parts to keep on hand if anyone has a source. I'm coming up empty in NorCal.

You might try Bacon Sails in Annapolis. This is a bit of a goldmine of consignments from various marques (yachty types paying for new sails :) ). It may be worth phoning first, but showing up with a good pair of gloves and just rooting around can be productive. Good luck with your search.
