Thanks DCatSea!

What a coincidence! Met DCatSea today, who was kind enough to do my Power Squadron safety inspection. Neat to compare the 27FC and 28TEs together.

BTW, it’s the Power Squadron who show up every year at our and many other marinas and dedicate their free time to doing inspections for our members. Much appreciated by all.

You are more than welcome. MerryKate is a lovely boat being looked after by her original owner, and it shows.

Note to all: Both the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the United States Power Squadrons have certified vessel examiners who will perform a free Vessel Safety Check ("VSC") at your boat.
There is no charge, and no consequences if you don't pass. Our goal is simply to help make boating as safe as possible for you, your family, and your friends, through education.

See: www.usps.org for details or to arrange a VSC.
