A year after I bought my 28te I discovered my documentation number in the inside bow,starboard side, glasses into the hull, it was full of sleeping bags during purchase so I never saw it,

Try looking under the floor hatch in front of the fridge in the cabin... That's one place I know of...

Are you looking for the HIN or a documentation number? If the HIN I'm assuming there's some issue with the one on the transom...
