Passenger capacity of a 28 te

Does anyone know what the total passenger capacity is for a 28 TE?
There isn't a placard or tag mentioning this anywhere on my boat.

Hi Dana -

I believe that capacity plates are only required for boats under 20'. Here's a forum discussion from last year about number of passengers on a 28TE:

There is no technical "max" per the coasties...

Mine actually has an Albin plate that states 6 persons and xxxxx#'s. I researched this and it's more of a formula based on length/width of the boat.

I have been on one with 14, we had 6 on the roof, I wouldn't suggest that it gets a bit top heavy.
