28 TE ENGINE COVER STRUTS

Post by randyt »

I have 2004 TE (with engine box) and after owning the boat for about a year, I finally figured out that previous owner removed the engine cover struts. Any idea about the maker of this part and maybe a part number?

Uflex marine USA made the ones on my 28TE. The back hatch used 2 of the 18" models. Not sure on the front but I think it's the same.

To further this question... Has anyone ever looked into replacing the electric struts on the flush decks with manual ones? would love to get rid of those slow, loud things......
