Yeti cooler on a 28

Post by Pedro »

Hey, What's the biggest yeti cooler anyone has tried in the rear cockpit on the 28?
I'm thinking the 65 will be big enough without tripping over, Pete

Not a yeti cooler but we had a Coleman marine 150 quart cooler on our boat. Didn't really get in the way any gave us a place to sit. Unfortunately it got stolen so we don't have it anymore:/

I have an iceytek box that I think is 70 litres. It's virtually the same width as the engine box and that's where it normally sits.

I have a Yeti Tundra 110 on my 28. That combined with the Yeti Cushion Top makes it a great two man seat. I use it all the time, fits perfect.

If you have an engine box model the yeti 65 fits very well on the box. I made a seat back that works as a table for mine. Like it there without taking up any more floor space.

Jeremy, That sucks that someone stole your cooler😡, if anything went missing while I was at my club, I'd lose my mind! That's my wife's hesitation on the super coolers,,, she trusts no one,,,,

Yea I was pretty pissed. Its a super safe marina, the state police marine barracks are on their property. Stuff never goes missing. They caught it on video, some kids took it *shrug*

Last year some (kids) pulled in by boat at night and stole something like 10 kayaks then left by boat, they used their real ids to sell them at two area pawn shops!!

My Albin Cooler is far superior to those Yeti's. I can go a whole weekend with my cooler.
