Todd Pedestal

Post by shub2191 »

"Osprey" has a Todd Pedestal and I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove it for full engine compartment access. It seems like it should come out but we can't seem to get it.....Any Ideas?

I don't know for sure so take this with a grain on salt. However it looks like there is a flange coming off the toothed section. Which means it may be a unscrew it from the deck kind of removal. I don't think its gonna just lift off, but I could be wrong. I have been unable to find that seatbase online to find any info on it.

To remove the pedestal post, first take off the seat and footrest, then push the cover plate away from the post to disengage it from the gears on the bottom of the post. Then you can unscrew the post from the base. You find a threaded stud sticking up from the bottom of the base after you remove the post.

That's why I couldn't find it, it's a table base not a seat base, lol
