Focused on a 28TE in New Bern, NC.
It rang all my bells, Cummins 370, autopilot, etc
Called today. Under contract. The broker did not bother to make a note on Yachtworld, like Sale Pending, or Under Contract.

Found another nice motor-box 28TE in Savannah. ( the ad says South Carolina, but common sense says Georgia)
Called this broker as well.
Sorry, the boat has a contract on it.
Jeez, same thing. The broker forgot to make a note on th a Yachtworld ad:" Under Contract"
How hard can it be.?
If anybody on this board wants to sell a clean 28 with a Cummins or a Yanmar, for cash with no broker involved, let me know.

Unfortunately, not this year. We're hoping we'll be able to move to a larger boat (40 NSC or Beneteau ST 42) for longer trips to the Bahamas and other destinations second quarter of 2018 (or sooner).

I understand about calling on a decent boat and having it under contract. Happened to us 3 times before we got this one. These are awesome boats and those in Bristol condition and priced right just won't last long on the market. We bought this one sight unseen subject to survey and sea trial.

Ours is a 2005, Albin 28 TE with Yanmar (1100 hrs), engine box, extended roof, transom gate, Genset, AC, factory built in cabinetry on forward bulkhead with TV / DVD between, stainless radar arch, chart plotter built into dash (nice), auto pilot, Vacuflush head, new anchor rode (20 ft. chain, 300 feet rope) and Mantus Anchor (sets within the length of the anchor), boat is very well maintained, TEAL color hull (2015), black bottom (she pops), all vinyl is like new with canvas covers protecting it, has Bimini. She looks and acts like new.

Once you get yours, you'll generate a lot of interest and people who will ask you to help them find one too. When we're ready to pull the trigger, we hope to be able to move quickly so keep us in mind for a great boat for your friends in 2018.

I have a 2000 Albin 28te engine box with a Yanmar 300 hp, 780 hours on the engine. The boat was painted 5 years ago and is very well maintained. I am located on the Chesapeake Bay in Easton, MD. I would consider selling to get a larger boat. I am absolutely sure the boat would survey well. I don't know what the value is, what would you consider a reasonable price?

Well, a buyer's reasonable price may be far away from a seller's reasonable price:)

So far I have surveyed and sea trailed 3 of these boats.
Valued from $53,000 to $73,000.
Some owners are on a different planet when it comes to minimum maintenance and minimum common sense.
Others are meticulous, knowledgeable, responsible and super nice people:)

I think I have found my boat now, had survey and sea-trial Monday.
Made a final offer 2 hours ago.
Waiting to hear from the owner.
