Shower Faucet

Post by catalina_mike »

I have replaced the lav faucet and now the shower one looks pretty bad.. Give a mouse a cookie. Has anyone ever replaced the shower, bottom connection, valve for the head hose one? I have searched the forum and online and need a hint or manufacturer to narrow my search.

Thanks in advance.

I have looked into it, and its on my short list (both sinks and transom shower hve been replaced) but haven't actually done that yet. I believe defender had a few options for ok money, but my marina actually has one on the shelf, cant remember the manf, but it was for boats or RV's and the price was decent. ill try and check on monday

I had replaced the kitchen long ago. I have long enough arms, barely, to replace the head one. Now the shower needs to go!😩

Scandvik are the OEM on the fixtures aboard Sonny. When I was replacing my shower mixing bridge (different configuration than the 28) I gave them a call. Found them very helpful.

I opted to renew the chrome on the shower faucet by removing it and painting it with a craft chrome paint, two step system, primer then chrome paint,,, it buffs to a mirror shine and looks worlds better than before and no stretched arms,, I already did the other two and I never use the shower anyway, the cockpit shower is the one I use anyway,,,
