Grommet Pole Holders from Marine East and here's your link:
http://www.marineeast.com/a_sch/sch_det ... &pid=06_01

I replaced them on my 28 and will be doing them on my 31 this coming off season.

Great to know. Never knew this. Hope this is not too much of a hijack, but these molded rod holder indents... how do you remove these? There are screws that seem to be attaching them down, but mine seem to be glued in. I want to remove mine to replace my fuel fill hose which is 23 years old.

Just sealant .. break the bond by slowly prying or using a utility knife. Once you get the inserts out, be aware and very careful as they are delicate and can crack easily on the inside corners of the recessed panel.

OK thanks. I didn't spend a ton of time trying to get them out... I will try to get in there with a sharp blade. So the screws that hold it in are obvious and accessible, then I just need to break sealant?

That is correct ... remove screws around the inserts perimeter, remove toe rail if you have one and then break the sealant.

Sometime between 2000 and 2001 model years Albin "cheapened" up on a number of bolt-on items. The gunnel inserts were one of them. My 2000 had really nice molded fiberglass inserts with recessed toe rails.

And the toe rail I'm assuming is that stainless pole at the bottom - gunnel inserts - good to know. I hadn't removed that when I tried to remove the insert the first time.

Would love to order up a set of these but am unsure of the ID of the hole. My gut says 2" ID but if anyone could confirm that would be great. It would save me a launch ride out with a tape measure this weekend! Our boat is a 2003 28TE.
