I’ve just had mine reupholstered - also had new foam fitted in the engine box cushion with gauze underneath so it doesn’t retain water anymore.

I did the Todd Cape Cod from West Marine. I think they are good quality but I'm thinking about upgrading to the ones Mike has posted, above.

I am also debating re-upholstering vs. buying new seats.

Those seats that Mike called out look really nice - do you just re-use the mounting hardware off the factory seats??

Yes you can however seats are made with different heights internally. I would have had to cut down the existing ones anyway. My bases did not match for some reason so I went for all new hardware with swivel slides. The seats can be rotated to face the stern.

Catalina_Mike,
Do do you happen to know how much that seat weighs? It looks awesome. I have a flush deck and would be mounting it on a post. So I would have to move it every time I check the engine which is every time I'm on the boat....
Thanks

I remember it not being bad. I took them off several times measuring heights etc. I did it myself.

Looks nice, I am drooling. Did you replace both seats?
I am 6’2” ans 225 lbs, are you close to those numbers?
I need to “test-sit” before I buy them, will look for local dealer or demo.
Perhaps the Miami boat show..
