Time to change transmission fluid and filter early November.
Looked at Amazon for a filter and ordered this:

It looked a bit different than last year’s filter so I poked around on the Internet and found the Manufacture: KonYin
Never heard of them, and no rating, feedback or anything on the internet, returned it to Amazon and found the real thing from Fredwarner.net for $46 including FedEx 2nd day shipping.
The fake one was $27, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Probably a good call... who knows with that kind of thing. Paper element disintegrating... would ruin your whole day.

Hey Rob, have you found a source for just the two o rings? I have the spare filter but have not been able to source just the O rings. Have changed mine a couple times using the old ones and would like to replace new this fall.

Yeah, I have done that, clean and reuse, but now I am like, screw it, there is no factory recommended procedure for cleaning old filters.
No kids in college, no grandkids, need to use the savings before I croak.
A perfectly maintained boat is a good start. (Can’t get expensive girlfriends, wifey would catch me with pants down I would live under a bridge forever after. )

No, never did source replacement o-rings. I checked in with Tony and neither has he. FWIW, I never noticed one looking compromised and I think in the environment they are in they should last quite some time. Well you could say they are about $45 for the two and you get a free filter with them

Finally did an overnight cruise with the new deck chairs mentioned above:
Pleasantly surprised: They fit next to the engine box, facing North/South and East West.
This boat got a lot more comfortable with these deck chairs.
(Wifey even slept on the engine box a few hours with a deck chairs as an extension. Will take a picture and publish next time she does that, and uh, she is a bit more petite than me.)

Pictures below, a simple cooler makes a great foot rest.
