Mechanicals are in perfect operating order:First thing I did after taking delivery 10-4-2017 was to change Oil, filter, tranny fluid, coolant, all 5 zincs, fuel filters, etc.
Also had the FloScan gauge refurbished. (Btw FloScan is going out of busieness, get parts now before it is too late.)
Then put in a new throttle/shifter as well as a shifter cable.
Had the oil analyzed. Everything down there is 100%, otherwise I would have fixed it first thing.
Been using the boat quite a bit, 35 hours and 15-20 local trips.
Haulout scheduled for next week, new chirp and Down-Vu transducer going in as well as bottom paint and a new boot stripe.
Had my first revenue charter last month.
All is well, and yes, Odin does have an engine...

Yes I read that about FloScan but you got to figure with electronic engines being out over a decade now FloScans target market continues to dwindle down... plus their system is a bit complex and pricey. Good reputation they have though, just really comes down to changing times....

Now on the hard for bottom paint, new booth stripe, new transducer and a few other things.
When the yard pressure washed the bottom paint it came off too easy.
Turns out there was shiny gelcoat underneath , no sanded gelcoat, no primer, no barrier coat.
Facing soda blasting, sanding, then building up barrier coats and anti-fouling coats like a brand new boat.

Thanks for the link, same story.
Soda blasting going on as we speak. Then several hours of preparation before barrier coats.
Total cost for my bottom will be $4014 plus the 9.9% tax and environmental fees.
Not the cheapest yard in town, but I would rather pay more for a good job. Boats are expensive no doubt, but I hate golf and trying to stay away from fast women and beautiful cars.

Time to get a two part epoxy under the waterline. I did the same thing when my 28 arrived here in the uk.

Coming along with a few snags:
Splashed today, blue bottom instead of black, navy blue boot stripe instead of green. “Prop Speed”on all metals underwater.
So far, so good, but they thought the bow thruster housing was plastic and needed no stinking zinc anode. Before they splashed this morning I read up on the Vetus bow thruster in the owners manual. “Do not use copper based paint on the gear housing, it will cause corrosion”
Also it showed location of zinc.
They pulled it back out and now cleaning off bottom paint for the zinc.
They used copper based paint...Called Vetus and was told the housing is Bronze.
Then called Petit and asked what paint and primer.
Then gave that information to the yard.
Not sure I should be their quality control, nor should I have to micromanage them, but I will if needed. Not sure I will back at that yard in the future.

I recommend upgrading to a vinyl track instead of the fender washers for securing the old ones. Replace the foam with an open cell foam so that they will air out and dry quickly. Also use a mesh backing instead of the solid vinyl.

Aye, new bolsters already in place: I made a posting on page 3 on ordering new SeaDek bolsters, not sure if I added pictures later.
They look good and hopefully will last a long time.
It came to about $600 or less.

Finally got the tub home.
Spent 3 hours running the new transducer cable to the plotter, removing old cables, and old cable ties, etc.
Everything works.
Need to go out and do a speed trail. Stern mounted transducer GT-23-TM mounted to Port because of the Left turning prop. (Thx for the heads up on that from you guys)
Will be interesting to see if it works at all speed ranges.
