Our filter is under the quarter birth where our water tank and pressure pump is.The filter is on the pressure side of the pump.

My set-up is the same as amber jj with the filter being part of the Jabsco UltraMax pump system on my '06 which includes a "Fully Assembled" water pressure set with pump, pressure switch, accumulator tank and pumpgard strainer, but I have a buddy who has a 2000 model and has no strainer or accumulator tank .. you may not have a strainer, but if you do it would be between the tank and pump.
