No idea, I would assume that the original ones were Albin molds, but on my long-term to do list is to rebuild ours because the core is totally rotten. I'd like to find a replacement teak one that would replace it, but I'm not sure how easy it is to find one that will fit the curvature of the transom.

Mine isn’t cored. 2000 vintage. I only
Know this since my last marina managed to “drop” the boat on the dry stack truck a few years back. So far as I know the platform was solid glass as it was one of my customers who repaired it.

Sounds. Better...
I thought my swim platform was too thin to be cored but being open-minded I said, what the hell, it Is possible.

Mine is a '94 and that is what the surveyor said... Maybe next time when I haul out and re-bed the swim platform supports I'll re-do it, and this time with some slats or holes in it to reduce the amount of pounding when adrift.

I had one made by plasteak. They should have the pattern and specs for mine (just ask about one for a albin 28). Price was very reasonable and it has the looks of an old school teak swim platform but none of the maintenance!

Larry - Contact Standish Boat out of Tiverton, RI. They were an Albin dealer - I was just there and saw a few in the yard. Call Ken...

Best of luck -

Called and emailed Larry several times (about another issue).
He never returned my calls or wrote me back.
