I had to look it up myself. Thought it was some kind of auto correct typo. Picture says it all. Perusing my free AIS app on the laptop last night a found a boat with that very name lurking around Whidbey island. The things one learns at AOG. Back to the 'f'o'c's'l'.

Yes exactly like that, the TE I’m interested in does not have a Transome gate so, looking at other options to board the Mrs in style !! 🤪

I'd have called that a gangplank or gangway. Didn't know it such a yachty name! :)

Haven't seen one on a 28, but now I'll be keeping my eyes open as I wander the marina.

Don’t worry Neil! I’ve been down to and picked up the keys for her today and she is looking top top. She is easier to board than mine from the side as Pete has more room on his handrails around the boat. See you in the morning buddy.

Passerelle is francais for bridge. Starts to make more sense when you figure out the spelling. :)
