Electric head wiring

Post by Tunateaser »

I’ m swapping my manual pump head for an electric one ona 2004 31 te.
I have noticed on the dc panel there is a switch labeled “head fwd “ with a brown wire approximately 10 or 12 gauge. I have no idea where it is going. I tried to tone it out but lost the signal. I can not find it near the head. Does anyone know if it is somehow prewired for an electric head and where this wire might terminate?

Never mind. Apparently, the "fwd head" 10 ga wiring was going to the aft macerator which was "fatootsed" why the didn't use the discharge pump or macerator switch is beyond me. Ran a new 10 ga wire to the head, moved the macerator wire to the discharge pump circuit. now to just put the whole harness back together (after tracing the wire) and continue what i was doing last week. :-)
