28te height

Post by Dpag28 »

Can someone help me please. I’m looking at a 28 te but where I live there is a bridge with a 11’ max height restriction. I’m hoping the 28 is no more then 10. Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

There's a document in the forum library with technical specs - viewtopic.php?f=41&t=3153. Air draft with the radar arch shows as 8'6". Beware of anything that might stick up higher, e.g. anchor light and antennas of course.

I measured the air draft of my 28 TE a few weeks ago. With my VHF antennas down I am just under 11 feet. The highest point is the running/anchor light. If the anchor light was on a pivot so that it would lay down I would be at about 9 feet but I didn't actually make that precise measurement. These measurements were with nearly full fuel and water but with no one on board. Is your bridge across tidal water?
