Faucet leak at galley

Post by Jkraft »

Not sure if it froze or if the seals went bad. It was full of antifreeze but leaking bad. Does anyone know of a direct replacement?

Thanks

If it’s worth anything - from what it appears any household tap or facet will do the job. They all run off of what we call her John Guest fittings which is ultimately 1/2” bore pipe. Anything that fits the downstairs toilet at home should do the job.

Sorry to jump this thread ..

I had the same issue with clogged screens and have rectified it. Fortuneately my faucet fixtures are all Scandvik and current stock. I first blew with air and picked pieces out, but ultimately purchased new aerators after determinig and rectifying the cause.

First you'll need to find the source of the grit that is blocking your aerators. If you have an aluminum tank, which you probably do, you'll find that to be your culprit. DougSea had a thread going on cleaning (power washing) and sealing his aluminum tank. I've been there too installing access ports and power washing the alumnum oxide away. No more clogged areator screens.

Here's Doug's thread on this issue:

I have had a issue at our old ski house in Vermont with well water. Keeps clogging the toilet fill. This solved the issue.

Cheep fix.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the 31'a and 35's already have the screen filter built into the Jabsco Ultra-Max Pump System, but the fines sneak by. I now use a filter on the dock hose when filling my water tank to filter out the chlorine in the municipal water.
