We have a 1999 Albin 35TE.. All the interiors seem to have a different salon lay out. We have two units. One is in the bow under the bed. The other one is in the salon under the couch. Hope this helps

We have two units, one under forward bed, one under Salon Bench/convertible bed on Port side. The thru hull and strainer are near the forward end of Engine Room, mounted fairly close to keel.

I can take pics of it all next time I am out at the boat (in a few days).

We are about the same for top speed. What rpm are you at? With a moderate load on board (2-3 adults), half water and half fuel we are only hitting 2650 rpm where we should be able to hit 3000. After we haul out and paint bottom I will check again but if I don't get any improvement I am going to look at reducing pitch.
