open hatch breeze collector..

Does anyone use something like this http://www.breezebooster.com/ when anchored? It seems like a good thing to get more breeze down below. Here in FL it can be stifling at night? Any other natural/passive system suggestions that make trips more humane swould be appriciated.

Back in my younger days when I was a blow boat owner we all used a product called a "WINDCUTE". The biggest difference was that it hooked to a halyard to keep it up...but the principle was the same. It works very well and made a huge difference in the comfort of the crew down below.

I've not used one, but it sure seems like it'd help. Especially here in Central FL. If you end up getting one pls send an update on how well it works, how it fits and if you recommend it for the rest of us. Jorge
