Well Craig, I must say you're reason for not joining us this year cannot be frowned upon. Just checked her out on Yachtworld. That sure is one helluva step up. Gaining size AND speed, not bad. Best of luck with it all.

Yes let us know how your survey goes....I have been talking up the 40' NSC as a possible live aboard for Miss K & I in FL. They represent an excellent value for the dollar if the window leaks are fixed. We'll look forward to seeing you at next years' meet.

John, my plan was to pick up 3 large bags of hard wood charcoal and some means to light it and pack it in Karen's van. She is still in school in Groton and will be driving down for class on Friday & Monday anyway. Total cost... about $20, which, if everyone wants to give me a $1 on Saturday, that's fine, but I'm not going to worry about it. The van will be available if anyone needs a trip to the grocery store or chandlery. The other issue is name tags, Rob do the girls want to make them for us again? Should I pick up supplies for that? Will Erika make that noodle salad again? I'll vote for that!

Yes, the girls are planning to do the name tags again and I can certainly spring for the supplies. And yes, Erika can surely make "that noodle salad" again. It's bok choy with ramen noodles and toasted almonds, to be more precise

All 3 of my ladies are down in Savannah, GA right now through the weekend. Grace is competing in a national baton twirling competition. Go Grace!

Spoke with Eddie on Mahalo this morning on another matter. He started the conversation that he was 60/40, in favor of attending. By the time we hung up he souned more like 90/10...

Thanks Rob and Rick we were thinking 35 and this was about the same price. Windows have been pulled and rebedded, will be checking that out with a strong hose and good surveyor. Keep you posted and send a few pictures if I can figure out how to post!

We will be happy to donate plates, plastic utensils and napkins for the Saturday night pot luck that we had gotten at BJ's and have leftover from family get togethers.

Great, bring what you have! If I remember correctly everyone brought their own last year, but having extras doesn't hurt. With a group this size there is usually some one who has extra of what ever someone else forgot. I am a big believer in random planning.

Just had EIM fax over the reserved boat roster as of today. We have 16 Albins reserved for the B-Floater. Also, AOG Member Mike G is reserved but he is coming with a few non-Albin boats and they will be docked elsewhere. So, all in all, 17 members and families & friends.

It's not 100% sure but we may have another visitor by land....Dave and his Sawzall! He was supposed to be at the wooden boat show in Mystic this weekend but... I'll let him tell you about it if he shows.

I see there is a cookout planned for Saturday eve; you can count on a side dish and a dessert from Seaquel. Are there any planned activities for the weekend? We are arriving Friday morning. I will also plan some type of appetizer in case of an impromptu get together! Looking forward to our first rendezvous!!!Also, we saw OTTER passing us in newport; wish we could have met up!
