Two more repeat members are coming (probably plus two, see below): John and Maureen Kispert from the Manatee Pocket near Stuart, winners of the prize for longest travel to the rendezvous last year, in their pristine 28TE, and Jim Overton from Punta Gorda (along with the two others pictured below?) on Nauti Naita.

Cape Harbour - Worth the trip

Post by Bidgood »

I would encourage any last minute fence sitters to consider relaxing and enjoying the ride to Cape Harbour. We really had a lot of fun last year and met some intersting and fun people. Albin owners are definitely not in the go fast crowd. They tend to be of the philosopy "It is not how fast you go, but what you look like while you are getting there."

So walk, boat. or drive to spend the evening at the Harbuor, you will be glad you did.
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Chuck,

This from new owner of 40 North Sea Cutter, Longboat Key. We are still looking at calendar re. attending rendezvous. Also, wondering if you could put me in touch with Steve Driscoll of St. Petersburg, who I see owns a 40. Looking for info on how to contact anyone at Albin (which may now be impossible), or anyone with extensive knowledge of NSCs. Any help would be appreciated.

Whit, I was hoping Stephen and Cindy would make the trip, but his wife must work! Yours would be the only 40 there if you can make it. Just think, only $1 a foot and as of 2/8 Cape Harbors diesel fuel was going for just $3.76 a gallon. How can you resist such bargains? You can reach Stephen at (727)525-0202. Hope to see you at the Cape.

If OK, I would love to come down and see everyone I know and meet those I don't. Just let me know the best time.

Unfortunately we have to postpone our annual visit to Naples this year, so we will be unable to look on the rendezvous. The hospitality shown last year to us "boatless" visitors was most appreciated and we are looking forward to the next opportunity to visit again.
All the best!
