Hi fellow Albin owners.

I'm Terry, and have owned an Albin 25 Deluxe powered with a Volvo MD 11C since 2003. My wife and I are long-time sailors but this has been our first power boat. We live in Montana and trail the boat to Puget Sound every summer. We have cruised extensively from Olympia, WA, to Nanaimo, BC. and are members of the Albineers of B.C. Occasionally we use the boat here in Montana on Flathead Lake where we live. I joined in order to be able to avail myself of all the great information re: maintenance and cruising from you all. I hope we will have something to contribute as well. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have about NW cruising or Montana and I'll do my best to answer them. :)

Welcome to the group. Albins in that part of the country are a rare sight though I did see one last summer, a highly modified old 27, at the Bridge Bay marina in Yellowstone Nat Pk. I spoke to the owner. He also trailers his to the coast every so often.

I will be passing through MT the third week of May on my way to Seattle then points S. Drove down the E shore of Flathead last year. Very pretty area.

MT,
Welcome to the group. I'm sure you have cruising pictures to share? Would be great to see them.

Man, that is a long way to trailer your boat every year. I trailered my 13' Whaler up to Priest Lake, ID once. That's the farthest I've gone yet. I did tow my 18' up from Sacramento, but that was a one-way trip, and those are both substantially smaller boats. What kind of tow rig do you have?
