Questions about posting boat for sale

Selling your Albin? List it here. Doing upgrades and want to share your usable stuff? Looking for a good deal? No commercial listings please.

Questions about posting boat for sale

Post by billgreenwald »

A long time, and recently supporting, member. I've never posted.
Am now preparing, in Word, a for-sale "flyer" for my 84 Albin 27 Family Cruiser. Plan to include quite a few a photos.
Wish to post flyer info or (flyer istself) on the AOG site.
Do you have max, recommended or min data sizes for photos posted?
Is Word an acceptable format for a posting?
Any other advice? I seem to recall you posted lots of advice once, but haven't found it again.
Many thanks.

Hi Bill --

I've moved your topic to the Swap/trade/sell section and given it a new subject line.

Maybe you're looking for the three posts pinned to the top of this section - viewforum.php?f=13 - especially the one written by Mariner.

Photos that are about 2000 pixels wide are good. Anything much smaller than 1200 pixels wide is too small.

I would compose the ad in Word or similar, and then copy the text directly into a forum post.

Instructions for including photos are here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12189.

Let us know if you need help.
