Electric hatch lifts

Post by dgetswet »

Has anyone had to change their electric hatch lifts? If so did you need to get a stronger set for the middle hatch?
I always had a problem lifting the hatch if anything was in the tuna ice box. Now one side does not work. Looking for ideas for a replacement.
Thanks

I was thinking adding electric lift to my engine hatch. Will be interested in this discussion.

Rob,

All I can tell you is my 2004 came with them installed. The middle hatch would not open if anything was in the holding area. Then it stopped working. I was wondering if anyone knew of a better system or better electric lift.
Thanks
