Post by Don from Mystic »

Wondering if any owners have installed spray rails on their 27? I'm considering installing a pair and would like any advice re this topic.....

Thanks and Happy Holidays to all!

I never felt the need to try a second spray rail on my A27AC. Always felt that the flare of the bow did a good job. I did, however, move the rails on my 32' Chesapeake workboat which has a much finer entry, little flare, & no rail built into the hull like the A27. It needed to be over 18" off the waterline at the bow to be effective.
