Friday 9/15 fishing

Post by jcollins »

I don't go that much but my wife, brother-in-law, and his friend wanted to go. The forecast was cloudy, chance of rain in the morning. Then, clearing, partly sunny, high of 80.
We left at 7:00. Yes, cloudy. Started to drizzle. Then some light rain while fishing. Decided to call it a day around 1:00. Started pouring on the way home. This is the one time I would like to have the pilot house. We were soaked. But a good time was had by all.

Oh yeah, how was the fishing? Ha! We caught a couple of small rock and one white perch. No keepers. We just kept feeding peeler to bait fish.
We tried offshore Poules Island and then a little further south at the light.
No fish but a fun day anyway.

If it was easy they wouldn't call it fishing, they'd call it catching.
