Grace Full departing the FL keys (soon)..

Post by craw_daddy »

Well our stay in the FL keys is officially over for this year. We will be traveling back to Melbourne from Marathon probably by 10/1. It has been truly wonderful enjoying the keys water-life for a little while -if only on the weekends. The kids have all enjoyed separate extended weekends with their friends aboard Grace Full. We may get back down there next springtime.

Rigt now I am considering our return route -either the Okeechobee waterway or back up the East coast as ussual. While the Okeechobee waterway woudl be slower & longer, it woudl offer more scenic views of wild Florida. The East coast trip would allow us to troll the gulfstream if the weather permits -something the crew woudl be greatly interested in. Whatever the choice -I'll be sure to document the trip & pst teh details.

I've said it before, but I have really come to appreciate the boat design the more time I spend aboard. It is a wondeful size for poking around extreme South Florida.
