Pacific NW Rendezvous planning

Post by dkircher »

Hi all,

Now that the rendezvous forums are open, I have a better spot to communicate about the boat show social and rendezvous planning. If there are any of you willing to coordinate the 2017 rendezvous, please reply to this post.

And this is the final "save the date" message about the annual social at the Seattle Boat Show. Please let me know, if you haven't already, whether you'll be joining us. At this point, I expect to make reservations at the brew pub for eight people. We can always add a few more.

Best wishes,
Dave

Pacific NW Albin Owners,

I have heard from some of you that you may be able to join us for the annual boat show social and rendezvous planning get together.

I will be making reservations later today for a week from tomorrow (February 3) at the same place we have met the last couple of years:

Elysian Fields
542 1st Avenue South
Seattle

The reservations, at this point, will be for eight people at 6 pm. Please let me know if you will be joining us. I can always add more to the crowd. By the way, you can enter the brewpub from across the street from Centurylink Field. No need to walk around to 1st Avenue.

Denise and I hope to see you a week from Friday.

Best wishes

Pacific NW Albin folks,

We had a terrific annual meeting and social at the boat show last evening. Thank you to all who attended. A special welcome to Eric and Theresa (49 Albin!), who are new to the group.

Sorry that some of you couldn't make the social. Denise and I enjoy being a part of such a nice group of owners.

We discussed holding a simple rendezvous at Port of Seattle's Bell Street Marina this summer. More information to come.

Hi all....seems to me there was a mention of "signing up" and beginning the process of holding space at Bell Harbor but the time/dates for the gathering...but what time/dates? We are leaving in several weeks and will be gone till late May (TransAtlantic cruise and Greek Isles boo hoo ).

Rain just ended (finally) for awhile and the river where I moor (Willamette) is flooded and running about 4kts..leaves me pinned to the dock watching eddys and whirlpools go by..with the occasional tree spinning merrily down the stream..

So...who has information?

So expect the Almvig's to be there in force!

Thanks for the call David and John from your PNW Rendezvous. Bummed to miss out on another find happening. Still looking for a replacement of my last boat. You all please keep the group together. Would hate to find that fine next boat and miss you all again. Sound like the venue is great and you are all having fun. Enjoy and have a cold one for me. Hello to all the other attendees and those I have yet to meet personally.
